Production Process of Silicon Barium

Silica, barium hydroxide, or barium sulfate are the main raw materials for producing silicon barium, similar to those used for ferro silicon. The raw materials are evenly mixed, and a flux (sodium carbonate) is added to facilitate rapid melting in the smelting furnace at high temperatures of 1400-1600°C, resulting in molten silicon barium. After smelting, the silicon barium metal liquid is poured into pre-prepared molds to cool and solidify. The cooled silicon barium undergoes preliminary manual crushing and screening. It is then further processed using specialized equipment to achieve uniform particle size after crushing. The processed silicon barium is subjected to sampling inspections to ensure that the chemical composition and physical properties meet production standards, and it is then packaged in bulk bags.
