Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of iron and silicon. Ferro Silicon is made by electric furnace with the raw materials coke, quartz (or silica) and iron scrap. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferro silicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.
Ferro silicon alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of steel and cast iron and produce fine quality steel. Ferro Silicon is used to remove oxygen from steel for better quality and durability.
Application
1. Ferro silicon 75 is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.
2. FeSi75 10-50mm also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.
3. Fesi75 10-50mm can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy(SiMn) production and chemical industry.
4. In iron industry fesi75 can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.
