Market demand for silicon carbide

China's silicon carbide export market is mainly in Asia and North America, with export shares accounting for 70.25% and 23.76% of global export shares, respectively. It is exported to 59 countries and regions, an increase of 6 compared to 2011. The countries and regions whose export volume is more than 1000 tons are Japan, the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, India, Türkiye, Mexico and Germany. The total export volume of these 10 countries and regions is 152600 tons, accounting for 92.64% of the total export volume. The top four countries and regions accounted for 30.55%, 23.25%, 15.5%, and 13.63% of the total export volume, respectively. The total export volume of the four countries and regions accounted for 82.93% of the total export volume. In addition to the 85.5% year-on-year growth in South Korea's export volume, the year-on-year growth in Türkiye and Germany is remarkable. However, the number of major countries and regions still declined to a large extent, with the decline in the number of exports to Japan and the United States reaching about 40%.
